Moving to The Country

We do not think we are alone in the pursuit of a dream; settling down on a far away paddock and living with Mother Earth, surrounded by fields, gold and green, waking up to the cluck of chickens at the bottom of the garden, roaming the quiet streets of neighbouring villages together.
As we settle into our, for now, Paris home and commute the busy streets below it has made us more aware, more intune of who we are and what drives us.
We push our door open and step out to the calm fresh air and meander down old country roads. Where our days are spent harvesting home grown produce, living with the land, sharing gardens with the wildlife, painting, writing, thinking, treating ourselves to home made bread and jam from the wild berry brambles, being sure to enjoy the sweetest gifts life can give. Freedom; a land with time.
As we work towards this next big move, a move which will take us to our own living Elysium, far away and far inbetween, to country and to sea, in this blog we gather and share our inspiration and motivation for this lifestyle and home in preparation.

(...and of course, all this, to help with more space for our growing vintage collection; a studio with Mother Nature; all her beauty to help carry all ours).
